This course combines practical skills, academic knowledge and excellent work experience to give you a head start once you begin your job search. Learning about the practicalities involved with making actual products will give you a true overview of the production process, preparing you for work at every level from designer through to production manager.

A placement year is a vital part in developing well-rounded and industry-ready graduates. 95% of our students are working in a professional or managerial role 15 months after graduating.

Please see below some examples of the qualifications for entry onto Year 1 for September 2021 and September 2022 entry:

• Chinese Senior High School Graduation Certificate (Huikao) average 80% or Gaokao 61-71%. The grade depends on the course
• Hong Kong HKDSE Diploma (4,4,3 to 4,4,4 from three subjects). The grade depends on the course
• All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Standard XII) 60-70%
• Italian Esame di Stato with 60-70%. The grade depends on the course
• Titulo de Bachillerato with 6 or 7. The grade depends on the course

Entry requirements for Bangladeshi students

BU International College Foundation Certificates

• You can undertake a Foundation Certificate before going on to an undergraduate course if you have successfully completed 12 years of schooling in Bangladesh and achieved a minimum of IELTS (Academic) 5.0.

Undergraduate courses

• You can apply to study for a Bachelor's degree from year one if you have a Bachelors's degree from a recognized Bangladeshi institution, with at least two years of study.

Entry requirements for Indian students

• You can undertake a Foundation Certificate before going on to an undergraduate course if you have successfully completed 12 years of schooling in India and achieved a minimum of IELTS (Academic) 5.0.

Undergraduate courses

• You can apply to study for a Bachelor's degree from year one if you hold a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Standard XII and have achieved an average percentage of at least 65% (although some courses will require this to be higher).
