Master of Natural Resources Management and Ecological Engineering
The Master of Natural Resources Management & Ecological Engineering (MNaRMEE) is a two year Master’s programme in the areas of sustainable planning, design and management of natural resources, landscapes, environmental management, business for sustainability, and ecological engineering.
This twinned master’s degree is undertaken at both Lincoln University and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna, Austria. BOKU MNaRMEE students will spend one semester at Lincoln University. Scholarships are available.
MNaRMEE graduates will have an international qualification that will distinguish you in the employment marketplace. New Zealand students will spend one semester at BOKU University’s green campus in the centre of Vienna, Austria. (Your courses will be offered in English so there is no German language requirement).

PSW Opportunity
- During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
- After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
- After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Whether you are considering a taught, taught/research or research-only Master’s degree, you will need a relevant degree with a B grade average in your 300-level courses and final year (full-time equivalent).
Taught Master’s degrees are usually 12-month full-time programmes. Like bachelor’s degrees, they are delivered and assessed through a series of taught modules and may include independent research in the specialised subject area.
