Lincoln University's Master of Water Resource Management prepares graduates for a professional career in water resource management and develops innovative and effective methods for the sustainable management of this critical resource in New Zealand and internationally.
Lincoln University has joined with the University of Canterbury, to jointly offer the Master of Water Resource Management.

The following course is available via either traditional face to face teaching on campus OR online delivery - taught fully online with weekly recorded live Zoom sessions. PSW Opportunity
- During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
- After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
- After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Whether you are considering a taught, taught/research or research-only Master’s degree, you will need a relevant degree with a B grade average in your 300-level courses and final year (full-time equivalent).
Taught Master’s degrees are usually 12-month full-time programmes. Like bachelor’s degrees, they are delivered and assessed through a series of taught modules and may include independent research in the specialised subject area.
