Pharmacy Dual Admission Program (The doctor of pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

The doctor of pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is either a six-year combined, seven-year combined, or eight-year combined program. The six-year combined program allows students to complete two years of a prescribed course of study in any undergraduate major. Students are awarded a bachelor's degree after successful completion of the second year of education in the College of Pharmacy. The seven-year combined program allows students to complete three years of a prescribed course of study in any undergraduate major. Students are awarded a bachelor's degree after successful completion of the first year of education in the College of Pharmacy. The eight-year combined program requires students to complete four years of a prescribed course of study in any undergraduate major with minimum of 120 credits. Students will receive the Pharm.D. degree after completion of four years of study in the Pharm.D. program. The doctor of philosophy in pharmacy (Ph.D.) is a nine-year minimum combined program that requires students to complete four years of a prescribed course of study in any undergraduate major with minimum of 120 credits. Requires students to apply through Shark Preview Premier Program application and online interview is required.

Students who have completed CXC or O-level certificates, HSC, BGCSE and CAPE must provide five passing scores in academic subjects and proof of secondary school completion. Transfer students must submit transfer evaluations from NACES-accredited organization.
