Law Dual Admission Program

NSU offers a dual admission program to students interested in a challenging career in the legal profession.  This unique program leads to the bachelor’s and juris doctor (J.D.) degrees.  The J.D. is also useful for careers in government or business.  After students successfully complete the undergraduate degree program requirements, they will enter the professional degree program after three or four years of undergraduate study. The law school dual admission program is available to students in all undergraduate majors.  Students should choose courses that will strengthen and hone their skills in three areas essential for success in law study: 1) the ability to read complex material with a high level of understanding; 2) the ability to think and reason logically and analytically; and 3) the ability to communicate effectively, particularly in written work. All applicants must satisfy the character and fitness requirements of the admission committee of the Shepard Broad College of Law. Requires students to apply through Shark Preview Premier Program application and online interview is required.
