Master of Science - Chemical Engineering

As a graduate chemical engineering student, you will build upon the fundamentals of your undergraduate studies. With small class sizes of 12-15, our professors will get to know you and invest in your success. You will be challenged to conduct research and explore the latest advances in the areas of: Separations, Alternative energy, Water purification, Green engineering, Pollution prevention, Process safety, and Engineering management. You may also choose an optional concentration in cosmetics engineering or petroleum engineering. ?The chemical engineering program includes the study of traditional and emerging technologies, from unit operations such as distillation and filtration, to unique applications such as biological reactors. As part of your coursework you will also be exposed to industry software, programming and professional design packages. As a graduate student in the chemical engineering program, you will: develop your application and optimization skills; complete a design project; communicate effectively, both written and spoken; and, hone skills specific to your intended field.
