Master of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

The Master of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy offers clinical practice and research opportunities in the field of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based therapies for high prevalence psychological disorders. Individuals will complete extensive supervised practicums that offer structured and integrated learning opportunities for advanced skills development. The course aims to provide individuals from diverse health related areas with a comprehensive and innovative learning environment that consolidates expertise in the area of CBT within a competency-based framework.

Bedford Park

PSW Opportunity

International students studying at Flinders University will be eligible to access an additional year in Australia on a post-study work visa, which means Masters graduate can get up to 3 years of PSW visa. 

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

 

Applicants for the masters must normally hold an approved undergraduate degree or equivalent in a health-related area – eg behavioral science, counseling, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology, or social work.

Practical experience requirements

As per Australian Government regulations, courses that have a placement involving contact with children, young people and/or vulnerable adults, will require students to undergo an Offender History Record Check prior to placement.
