BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science
Fundamental ideas in pure and applied mathematics are developed together with key concepts in computer science. In addition to expertise in both subjects, the course fosters the intellectual skills of analytical reasoning, systematic problem solving and the development and clear communication of ideas. Students studying Mathematics and Computer Science study roughly 50% in Mathematics and 50% Computer Science. Those interested in a course with a lesser computer science component can follow Mathematics with Computer Science (UCAS GIG4) the split, in this case, is 75/25.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- 2 LORS are mandatory
- Students who have scored highly in year 12 (80%+) may be admitted directly into year 2 of our degree programmes.
- For Mathematics we require 70% overall in year 12 state board high school examinations with 70% for Maths.
