You will get to work closely with industry experts to gain the skills and knowledge needed to create, develop and stage special events while coordinating a team in an efficient and productive manner.
Our students get involved in the production of the Victorian State Schools Spectacular, held annually at Melbourne Arena, as well as large- scale cultural events, including:
- Local government major community events
- Melbourne Cup Carnival.
- Major exhibitions, trade shows and conferences
- VineHop Festival,
- Seven Sisters Festival
Students may also get the opportunity to work on delivering major community festivals with local government partners and get backstage access to various sites through a number of local, and interstate events. There are also opportunities for domestic and international travel throughout your studies.
With the integrated Certificate III in Live Production and Services, this course ensures learners have the creative production skills that are a vital addition to an event professional's skills base.
The dual Diploma of Event Management and Certificate III in Live Production and Services has been developed with a strong focus on industry placements at festivals and stadium productions.
