International Banking and Finance (Top-Up) BSc (Hons)

This course is specifically designed for holders of HND qualifications or similar UK and international qualifications. The award allows you to gain a full honours degree in one year.

This is a research driven programme focusing on contemporary issues within the challenging global banking and finance sector. You will gain up-to date technical and professional skills, through specially designed modules namely Contemporary Issues in Banking, Risk Management in Banking and a dedicated project in International Banking and Finance.

Waterside Campus

In the summer of 2018 the University of Northampton moved to the brand-new Waterside Campus. This seven-year project saw a neglected brownfield site transformed into a successful and impressive new campus that facilitated a radical re-engineering of the University in terms of both teaching methodology and governance structures. aterside is a waterfront site of 24 hectares on the edge of the town centre. Its successful completion has turned a derelict site into a leading facility in the higher education sector. The project brief emphasised integration, of the University into the town and local community, and of departments, facilities and teams within the University itself. New pedestrian and road bridges and cycle routes link the site to the town, and public facilities and commercial outlets are part of a Waterside experience which continues beyond the University to local historic buildings and parks.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Your application will be considered if you have successfully completed the first two years of a relevant business, economics, accounting or finance degree, or HND (or equivalent overseas qualification such as the Chinese Dazhuan).

If you hold a qualification at Level 5 or above in a relevant area, your application may also be eligible subject to a satisfactory module mapping.

In addition, you should hold Mathematics GCSE at grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
