Travel and Tourism Management HND

Travel and Tourism is a continually growing industry which supports a huge number of different roles. If you are seeking a course which will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to embark upon a career in the industry, then this course is for you. You will have the opportunity to study for two years, and can then complete the International Tourism Management Top-up for the full degree.

We will support you to achieve your career and study ambitions, which is why if you complete our Employability Plus Gold programme or Changemaker Gold certificate alongside your studies and if you haven’t secured full-time employment 12 months after graduating* we will secure a three – six month paid internship for you, or support you into postgraduate study.

Our Travel and Tourism Management HND course is linked to professional body requirements, and offers you a strong, sector related emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of your knowledge and understanding.

Our HND is a traditional taught course consisting of six modules per stage over two years. Waterside Campus

In the summer of 2018 the University of Northampton moved to the brand-new Waterside Campus. This seven-year project saw a neglected brownfield site transformed into a successful and impressive new campus that facilitated a radical re-engineering of the University in terms of both teaching methodology and governance structures. aterside is a waterfront site of 24 hectares on the edge of the town centre. Its successful completion has turned a derelict site into a leading facility in the higher education sector. The project brief emphasised integration, of the University into the town and local community, and of departments, facilities and teams within the University itself. New pedestrian and road bridges and cycle routes link the site to the town, and public facilities and commercial outlets are part of a Waterside experience which continues beyond the University to local historic buildings and parks.
