Led by a team of researchers, our biomedical science degree gives you the skills, techniques and hands-on experience you need to succeed in the field of biomedical science. If you’re looking for a fast-paced degree that gives you access to the next generation of scientific equipment and research, then our BSc Biomedical Science is for you.

Using real-life clinical laboratory challenges, you’ll develop your specialist knowledge and learn everything from microscopy and blood typing to DNA analysis, tissue identification and everything in between. You’ll learn from their experiences in science research, biomedical science and medicine – and their current on-campus research into affordable treatment for AIDS-related cancer patients in the first world.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

112 UCAS points, including grade C or above in a science subject, plus GCSE C English and Maths

We require A level, or equivalent level qualification in depth and size, in a science subject. We do not normally consider Psychology or Physical Education to be a science based subject
