Job Opportunity Potential

What sort of careers do graduates pursue?

The course is aimed at experienced industry practitioners who wish to complement their academic knowledge and obtain professional recognition in key management areas of private industry or the public sector internationally.

Graduates can pursue management careers in the public and private sectors, including technology, engineering design and product development, manufacturing production, and supply chain (particularly in the fields of engineering management).

Do you provide employability services?

Our Faculty careers team provides support and guidance to students and we work with a partner organisation that specialises in helping to secure an industrial placement opportunity. However, it is your responsibility to secure a work placement in your second year. This could be with a local or international employer in a relevant industrial sector.

If a placement is not secured, it is still possible to graduate with an MSc in Engineering Management without Industrial Practice.
