Media and Communications, BA Hons

Our Media and Communications degree provides an academic, creative and critical understanding of the media for roles in a variety of creative industries and backgrounds.

By the end of our Media and Communications degree, you'll know how to produce creative content across different kinds of media, including writing, camera use, sound recording and post-production/editing. The course will give you the opportunity to apply your class-based learning to the real world through work placements in media and creative businesses and organisations. Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

For entry to our four-year extended degree programmes, you will need to have met the following:

Standard XII with a minimum of 50%
70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements

For standard entry to our Bachelor's programmes, you will need to have met the following:

Standard XII with a minimum of 60%(70% for Law, Architecture)
70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements
Some Bachelor's degrees allow advanced entry to year 2 or year 3, depending on your study history.

For advanced entry to Year 2 and Year 3 you will need to complete:

Year 1 of a relevant degree with a minimum of 60%
Postgraduate Degrees (Masters)
