Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Unless Senate decides otherwise, candidates shall be admitted to the studies for the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration if they hold:
a Bachelor’s degree and have obtained an average final mark of at least 60% in the third-year modules, or
a relevant diploma or degree approved by Senate, coupled with prior learning, which should comprise no less than three years’ experience in the field of Business. Should any of these requirements be lacking, a candidate may be required to undertake additional modules prior to entering the programme.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
The medium of instruction and examination at the NMMU is English.
Applicants from non-English speaking countries are required to submit proof of English proficiency before registration. The TOEFL or IELTS tests, available in most countries, are acceptable proof.
IELTS – 6.5 overall score with a minimum of 6 in each section.
TOEFL: PBT – 580 overall with minimums of 53 in listening, 52 in reading and 59 in structure/written
CBT – 237 overall with minimums of 19 in listening, 19 in reading and 25 in structure/written
IBT – 90 overall with minimums of 18 in listening, 17 in reading 22 in writing and 19 in speaking
