Electronic Engineering with Space Systems BEng (Hons) or MEng

Why choose this course
Surrey is one of the UK’s leading universities for electrical and electronic engineering, with our courses ranked 2nd in the Guardian University Guide 2020.

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering designs and builds innovative commercial satellites which are launched into orbit – having pioneered the small satellite industry nearly 40 years ago. This means that our BEng and MEng Electronic Engineering with Space Systems courses give you a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience from inspiring academics at the frontline of space engineering.

What you will study
You’ll apply your knowledge through project work, which will give you the opportunity to work closely with academics from our Surrey Space Centre and enable you to gain real-world practical experience of the technologies that go into space missions.

You can apply to study for either a BEng or MEng (Masters of Engineering). The MEng builds on the BEng course with a masters year and is a direct route to a masters qualification. Depending on your progress, you may have the option to switch to a BEng or MEng during your studies. Find out more about the benefits of an integrated masters degree.

Study Option:- MEng UCAS: H621 (4 years)
MEng UCAS: H627 (5 years with professional training) (Fees Professional training £1,850)
