As a student on this course, you’ll cover a rich variety of contemporary psychological research methods. You’ll also benefit from a combination of study and hands-on research experience.

Our School of Psychology’s teaching and research facilities have recently undergone a major refurbishment, including a brand new psychology computer lab.

What you will study
We will provide you with the psychological research expertise you need for the behavioural sciences and develop the skills to critically evaluate research and formulate forward-thinking research questions. 

We’ll also enhance the skills you need to conduct research, analyse your results and communicate the findings to others. We have designed our course so that you can develop numerous approaches to your research and combine them in your own way. The course provides an ideal stepping stone for research at a PhD level.

The School has a range of dedicated laboratories and cutting-edge research equipment, including labs for eye-tracking, perception and psychophysiological experiments; and high-tech neuroscientific equipment such as an electroencephalogram (EEG) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).
