Education and Psychology, BSc (Hons)
Our Education and Psychology degree will give you expert scientific training in the relationship between the mind, brain, and behaviour, together with an excellent grounding in education policy, child development, and educational neuroscience.
You will develop an in-depth understanding of educational practice in a digital age, education in national and international contexts, leadership and management, and diversity and wellbeing in education.
You will learn about the psychological and neuro-scientific processes that underpin activities such as thinking, reasoning, memory and language, developing a solid foundation in cognitive, social, developmental, clinical, and biological psychology.
Throughout your studies, you will develop excellent research, critical analysis, and communication skills, as well as a high degree of numeracy and ICT ability.

Singleton Park Campus
Travelling west on the M4 leave the motorway at junction 42 and follow signs for Swansea on the A483 (Fabian Way). On crossing the River Tawe the A483 becomes the A4067. Continue west along this road, passing Sainsbury’s Superstore on the left-hand side of the road. After approximately 1.5 miles there is a footbridge over the road. The University’s main entrance lies just before the footbridge and is controlled by traffic lights. As you approach the lights, keep to the right-hand lane and prepare to turn right into the University. There is a Visitors’ Car Park immediately right of the main entrance. There are large Park-and-Ride sites at Port Tennant and on the A483 east of Swansea, at Landore, on the A4067 north of the city. All sites are open from 7.00 am until 7.00 pm, Monday to Saturday.

- A-Levels/Welsh Baccalaureate*: ABB – BBB – If you have at least one of the following subjects at A level: Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics, the typical offer will be BBB
- Access Diploma: 24 Distinctions and 15 Merits
- BTEC: DDM
- Irish Leaving Certificate: 360-375 points
- International Baccalaureate: 32-33 points
*We welcome applications from Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Diploma students. Requirements are as for A-levels where you can substitute the same non-subject specific grade for the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Level Core Grade.
It is not essential to have studied any particular subjects at A-level. We do not accept General Studies.
GCSE profiles need to include a minimum of 5 passes at Grade A*-C, including Welsh/English Language and Mathematics.
