Unique in the UK, our MSc Batteries, Fuel Cells, and Energy Storage Systems will teach you the principles of knowledge management, decision-making and design in energy storage systems and energy applications.

What you will study
Created in response to the rapid advancement of renewable energy applications, our MSc Batteries, Fuel Cells, and Energy Storage Systems will enable you to investigate technologies and systems of energy storage.

You’ll have opportunities to learn about energy sector economies and major energy storage technologies, as well as how to make decisions in a complicated technical and economic environment. To inspire your individual path through our course, you’ll also have the option to choose from a range of engaging additional modules. These allow you to customise your degree to your preferred area of study and cover areas like wind and solar energy networks, electric automotive applications and mobile device applications.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

A minimum of a 2:1 UK honours degree in either Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or Chemistry or a recognised equivalent international qualification. We'll also consider relevant work experience if you don't meet these requirements.
