An understanding of how consumers behave, together with research data and knowing how to capitalize on the latest digital trends, ensures that organizations can sell their products and services and is key to a successful business. Durham College prepares you for your start in an exciting career where you can help businesses grow and succeed. Here you will have hands-on learning of the latest digital technology as marketing trends demand new ways to reach customers. You will be able to boost your resumé with marketing projects completed for real industry clients, and you will have the opportunity to participate in simulations, marketing-oriented events and competitions, all of which will add to your industry network and experience to help you get that first marketing job. You will have two options to gain work experience and will either complete a field placement or a co-operative education (co-op) experience.
