What you will study
Sport and exercise sciences consider the theoretical knowledge and practical application of scientific principles relating to physiology, biochemistry, nutrition, biomechanics, and psychology, to maximize sports performance and improve general health and wellbeing through exercise. Our BSc Sport and Exercise Science course build on our multidisciplinary strengths in these areas.

You’ll benefit from the exceptional facilities based at our £36 million Surrey Sports Park and extracurricular opportunities to assist with athlete support, patient exercise referral, research project development and delivery, educational workshops and outreach projects.

The course is endorsed by the Register of Exercise Professionals, enabling you to complete gym instructor, personal training and exercise referral qualifications by undertaking vocational fitness assessments.
