Software Engineering with a Year in Industry M.Eng

Course description
You'll learn state-of-the-art software design and programming technologies, and also practise your skills in project management, teamwork and working with customers - skills expected by employers. You'll get a solid grounding in the fundamentals of computer science and the opportunity to explore aspects of artificial intelligence

Your year in industry will put your studies into context and give you a head start in the careers market. You will pay a reduced fee to the University for that year and you'll be paid a salary.

In the second year, you'll develop software for real companies. In the third year half of your time is spent on a substantial individual project, giving you scope for creative and intellectual input. Other modules include E-commerce, 3D Graphics, and Computer Games Technology.

In your final year, you can also join Genesys Solutions, where you'll work with a team to provide real solutions for external clients.
