Mechanical Engineering

The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering has a long history of running schools, strong strength, and outstanding subject features. It has trained a large number of professional and technical personnel for the national aviation industry and has made important contributions to the development of the national defense engineering field. The mechanical engineering major was founded in 1952 and is one of the earliest majors in the school. After more than 60 years of construction and development, it has become a master's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in mechanical engineering. In 2018 , the manufacturing direction was approved for PhD positions in the disciplines of aerospace science and technology. The college has machinery manufacturing and automation department, electrical and mechanical equipment and control engineering, machine and digital technology-based, international education teaching lab 3 departments and 1 research laboratories, under the mechanical engineering and automation, mechanical and electronic engineering, 3 majors in vehicle engineering . There are more than 2,200 undergraduates, more than 200 postgraduates, and more than 170 foreign students . In the past three years, the undergraduate employment rate of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering has remained above 95 %.

The college currently has 11 provincial and ministerial R & D platforms, of which the National Defense Key Discipline Laboratory for "Digitalization of Aviation Manufacturing Processes" is one of the 34 national key discipline research laboratories. The Experimental Teaching Center of Mechanical Engineering is an experimental teaching demonstration center in Liaoning Province. Currently, there are 4specialized basic laboratories and 8 specialized comprehensive laboratories. The existing experimental teaching area is about 4,500 square meters. More than 10 sets of high-level instruments and equipment, such as machining centers, precision EDM machine tools, large-scale optical coordinate measuring machines, flexible manufacturing systems, and laser rapid prototyping machines, with total assets of more than 20million yuan.

The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering has a teaching team with reasonable structure, active academic thinking, and high comprehensive quality. There are currently 86 faculty members . Including 67 full-time teachers , 9 experimental teaching staff . In the ranks of full-time teachers with a doctorate 46 people, a master's degree 19 people, including professors 14 associate professors 21 people, the National Talent Project 1 people, the State Council special allowance experts 2 people, Distinguished Professor of Liaoning Province, one person, Liaoning The province has 1 million talents and 1 level , and 2 teaching teachers in Liaoning Province . (Statistics as of 2019 Nian 7 months)

Guided by disciplines, based on aviation characteristics, serving the northeast old industrial base, coordinated development of teaching and scientific research. The college attaches great importance to teaching research, and the teachers are determined to carry out teaching reforms. In the past three years, they have undertaken 20teaching reform projects , won 2 second-class awards and 5 third- class awards in Liaoning Province , 1 special-level teaching achievement award , and first-class award 2 1 prize, 1 second prize . Published 29 research papers and 12 textbooks . In the past three years, it has undertaken and completed more than 60 scientific research projects with a total funding of about 50 million yuan, including 11 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 6 projects of national defense pre-research , 21projects of the provincial and ministerial natural science funds , and 5 aviation funds. He has won 5 awards at various levels , published more than 250 scientific papers , of which more than 30 were included in SCI , more than 80 were included in EI , and 6 monographs were published . The transformation of scientific research results created an output value of more than 60 million yuan.

The college has formed obvious characteristics and advantages in discipline construction and talent training, formed a scientific research system that combines the application of pre-research and engineering applications and industrial development, and has cultivated a large number of dedicated and innovative senior personnel.
