We are now at a critical time in the current economic climate where the need for sound economic skills and competencies with international relations will be high for the foreseeable future.

A degree in Economics and International Relations is ideal preparation for a career in business, finance and the civil service.

Recent graduates have progressed on to roles at major companies such as PwC, IBM and TNT. 

2 Years PSW is applicable after the course.(Bachelors & Masters only)

Entry criteria

• A typical offer is 104 UCAS points. You need to study at least two subjects at A Level or equivalent (eg BTEC)
• Five GCSEs at grades A–C including English Language and Maths
• Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit (or equivalent)
• English (Language or Literature) and Maths GCSE required as separate qualifications at grade C
• We will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course
• International Baccalaureate: 24+ Points

India

• Minimum of 65% average in your four best subjects (excluding Hindi) in Standard 12. We may also check your standard 10 results in English and Maths.
• For Engineering courses, you will need a minimum of 60% in Maths. 

2nd year - 3rd-year Undergraduate:

• Entry to year 2 or 3 may be possible. You will need to supply detailed information including courses taken, grades achieved, syllabus, and a grading guide.

Sri Lanka

• 55-65% in three A-levels, depending on the course you choose.

2nd year - 3rd-year Undergraduate:

Bangladesh

• A-levels or a recognized Foundation Course
• GPA 5.0 out of 5.0 including 4.0 in English and Maths
