LIBERAL ARTS B.A (Hons)

Liberal Arts is ideal if you’re a creative thinker, enjoy exploring new and varied subjects and want to make a difference to society. Its interdisciplinary approach to some of the world’s most pressing problems means you’ll study a wide range of subjects, including the social sciences, arts, humanities and sciences. Core modules will include Living Labs field trips as well as contributions from staff in Law, Geography, Sociology, Education, History, English, Music, and Management amongst others including the social sciences, arts and humanities.   

LIBERAL ARTS IS A UNIQUE DEGREE

It does not focus on a single academic discipline, but seeks to provide breadth as well as depth. This will ensure that graduates gain knowledge and experience of a range of approaches, methodologies, theories and perspectives, and that they develop the creative skills and qualities needed to analyse and understand the fast-changing and complex world in which we live. The result is a challenging and engaging programme that contributes to the devleopment of capable, and very employable, citizen-graduates with a sophisticated and sensitive approach to the world.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

India

CISCE / CBSE / West Bengal Class XII: 60% - 90% required depending on course. Plus any subject-specific requirements. 

All other State Boards Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard Class XII: 65% - 95% required depending on course. Plus any subject-specific requirements. 

2 years of study must have been completed.

English Requirements

CISCE/CBSE Class XII: 70% or above in English, depending on course.

All other State Boards Class XII (except Punjab or Mohali School Education Board): 75% or above in English, depending on course.

Must have been completed within the last 5 years.

The study should be taught in English. Otherwise, IELTS is required.
