GLOCAL - International Development Studies

Program Description:
Glocal - International Development Studies is a unique MA program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. This innovative, interdisciplinary 18 month program aims to translate academic research into practical applications that are conducive to working with communities and development organizations across the globe. The program includes a one-semester internship with an
INGO/NGO in Africa, Asia, Latin America or Israel. Students are given the opportunity to develop and implement innovative development solutions in a variety of fields, including women's empowerment, education, cultural
sustainability, food security and the environment.

Admission Requirements:
1. BA with an average of 85 and above
2. Fluency in English
3. A commitment to participate in an intensive 18 month program of
study including a 4-month internship abroad
4. Relevant background or professional skills, proficiency in additional
languages, as well as prior experience working or volunteering abroad
are an advantage.

Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are available for eligible students from developing countries, as well as Jordanian and Palestinian students.
