NEW WORK INTERNSHIPS FEATURE: Internship (up to 6 Months) incorporating an Applied Research Project
Founded in 2002, the MSc Strategy, Innovation and People Management (SIPM) is a broad-based programme integrated around the three meta-factors critical for success in the digital, knowledge-based, global economy. The programme provides a thorough conceptual grounding in theory (both seminal and current) combined with applied understanding and analysis of practice. The MSc SIPM fosters critical thinking, develops long-term career capabilities and equips graduates to work in a wide variety of roles in a broad range of industry settings. The MSc SIPM is accredited at the Advanced Standards Level (the highest achievable) by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), the largest professional HR body globally.
CIPD Accredited
It is one of a small number of Irish programmes accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development CIPD, the professional body for human resource practitioners.
Our faculty includes research leaders in the subject areas of human resource management, employment relations and international management ensuring that the material delivered reflects the latest thinking in industry. Faculty and students are actively involved with the Western Region branch of CIPD providing networking opportunities with HR professionals. When you successfully complete this programme, you can become a member of CIPD, the professional body for human resource practitioners. Graduates are invited to join the alumni network with over 150 members. Our alumni post job opportunities, act as guest speakers and provide a supportive community of practice.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Entry Requirements
Normally a Second Class Honours undergraduate degree, usually a Grade 1, or a H2.1 in the Higher Diploma in Business Studies, is required (or equivalent international qualification). Practical experience providing exposure to the strategic, innovation and human resource issues confronting organisations would be an advantage.
