BSC ACCOUNTING AND MANAGEMENT WITH A YEAR ABROAD
Management accounting is a forward-looking practice. On this degree, you will learn how to influence the future of the businesses you’ll work in, potentially changing their direction in both subtle and major ways. In business, you need to be able to come up with new ideas and strategies. You also need to be able to cost those ideas and present them in a compelling way. This is the day-to-day business of the management accountant, and you’ll get the first-hand experience of it on this course.
Accounting and management is a common route to the top of business, with many CEOs of large companies coming from an accountancy and financial director background. So if you have ambitions to go all the way, and if you don’t just love working with numbers but also with people, this degree is ideal.
Your degree will prepare you for a successful career as a management accountant or financial director, dealing with issues such as how much products cost, how much new products or services will cost to develop and take to market, and the financial implications of opening new divisions or closing old ones. On this degree, you’ll learn the financial accounting skills needed to ask the right questions and collect and interpret the relevant information. You’ll also learn how to effectively present this information to decision-makers, and how to make recommendations and decisions of your own. This includes learning how to present specialist financial and accounting information to non-experts in a way they can understand.
Note:- You’ll spend your third year overseas at one of our partner universities in Europe, Asia, Australia or the US. During your time abroad you’ll gain a new perspective on your studies. You’ll also broaden your horizons, grow your confidence and your contacts, and show international employers that you have what it takes to succeed on a global platform.
