Sports Coaching and Performance, BSc (Hons)

Our sports coaching and performance programme is designed to provide students with the skills, experiences and networks that will establish our graduates at the forefront of coaching practice. The programme is rooted in applied practice by linking theory to practice and provides many opportunities for students to apply their skills in real world contexts across professional and amateur sport both in the UK and abroad.

The course has been designed to allow students to choose options that reflect their personal interests and aspirations and allow flexibility between Spots Coaching and Performance and Sports Coaching and Development.

Our focus is on learning not testing, therefore we have no formal examinations but an emphasis on developing independent, resourceful, problems solving coaches who have developed transferable skills that can be applied across many contexts.

Campus Information

Preston

There are a variety of different ways you can access our Preston city campus, whether by rail, road or air. Preston is well served by the M6 motorway both north and south and excellent cross country rail links. There are also two major international airports in Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon.

2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)

FOR NEPAL

62% overall score from all recognised boards.

85% or above in HSC.

FOR BANGLADESH

Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) 70% overall score
Where a specific subject is required for entry to the degree programme, 60% must be achieved in this subject Or
Successful completion of Year 1 Bachelor Degree from a recognised university with an average grade of 55% or above.
Excellence Scholarship -
85% or above in HEC.

FOR SRI LANKA

Sri Lanka General Certificate of Education (Advanced) 60% overall score.
Where a specific subject is required for entry to the degree programme, 60% must be achieved in this subject.
