Sport and Exercise Science Foundation Entry Route, BSc (Hons)
Foundation Entry degree courses are designed for students who have the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to enter directly onto their chosen Honours degree programme. In an increasingly health conscious world, where sport scientists and performance consultants are ever more in demand, this course provides an invaluable advantage as it specialises in teaching you the skills that ensure competency when working in the field following graduation. Appealing to those with an enthusiasm for sport, physical activity and human science, the course teaches you how sporting performance can be improved to ensure individuals achieve their personal potential, by drawing together the study of physiology, psychology and biomechanics within a sport and exercise context.

UCLan requires all undergraduate applicants to have a minimum attainment of five GCSEs at grade C and above, or equivalent, (including Maths and English).
