Medical Sciences, BSc (Hons)

The BSc (Hons) Medical Sciences degree programme is designed to prepare students for further study on professional programmes such as graduate entry Medicine, Dentistry or Physician Associate Studies, Masters or PhD studies, as well as creating opportunities for students to competitively apply for careers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries or academia.

Taught at our Burnley campus, this is an accelerated two year programme that provides a unique opportunity for you to gain a scientific degree which is embedded within a clinically-focused curriculum. Staff from both scientific and clinical fields will guide you through your journey, developing key transferable skills and enhancing your understanding of the healthcare industry in order to prepare you as a highly competitive candidate for a range of career options.

Based within the School of Medicine, this programme understands what is necessary for competitive entry into professional healthcare programmes such as graduate entry medicine. A high staff to student ratio allows us to provide you with a nurturing environment in which you can grow.
