MBA Business Analytics

The 2-year MBA programme with specialization in Business Analytics is a 100 credit course including all three parts of the analytics Viz. Descriptive, Prescriptive and Predictive which have been developed amongst different courses and blended with appropriate tools and data management techniques. This programme is structured with the comprehensive knowledge about transforming the data into information, crucial for taking decisions for the business. Analytics can be referred as an umbrella term for techniques, technology and processes collectively. Sharda University, being one of the top business management colleges in India, has adopted a modern education approach by providing the students with more exposure to problem-based learning and case studies about business analytics.     

The students, who have qualified their graduation (in any stream) with 60% marks from a recognized college/ university, are eligible to apply for SUAT (Sharda University Admission Test) on the basis of which candidates are shortlisted for the admission in master’s degree in business analytics. Moreover, the entrance test scores, which are valid for this programme apart from SUAT (Online Test), are MAT with 75 percentile or CAT with 65 percentile. Students, who apply for the admission on their CAT/ MAT score base, don’t need to appear for SUAT. Confirmation of admission depends upon the performance of the candidate in Group Discussion/Personal Interview. English proficiency is also must for this programme. Being one of the largest engineering colleges, Schools of Business Studies (SBS) at Sharda University has stringent admission criteria.
