MSc in Corporate Finance
The MSc Corporate Finance degree specializes in the theory and practice of corporate finance, one of the most popular sectors in financial services. The programme will provide you with the knowledge to successfully navigate the rapidly changing global landscape of business finance and is designed to prepare you for a wide range of careers in the financial sector, including investment banking, securities sales and trading, foreign exchange, hedge funds, private banking, credit products, financial and credit risk management and consultancy.
The Corporate Finance degree will develop your corporate finance expertise to the highest level and focus on areas of corporate finance that have a major practical and theoretical significance such as investment analysis, valuation, optimal capital structure and mergers and acquisitions, derivatives, finance microstructure and taxation.

It contains the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Engineering, the Queens' Building, the main college library, the student union, Draper's bar and club, several restaurants, a number of halls of residences and a gym. The educational and research sites of the Arts Research Centre, Computer Science, the large Engineering building, G.E. Fogg Building, Francis Bancroft Building, G. O. Jones Building, Joseph Priestley Building, Lock-keeper's Graduate Centre, and the Mathematical Science Building, are all located within the Mile End campus

Degree requirements
- A good 2:2 or above at undergraduate level in any subject, provided the degree contains satisfactory study of Mathematics and Statistics. Subjects likely to contain sufficient quantitative elements include Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics and Finance.

We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree (minimum 3 years) from selected institutions.
- UK 1st class degree: 70% to 80%
- UK 2:1 degree: 60% to 70%
- UK 2:2 degree: 50% to 60%
