Bachelor of Education (Technology) (BEd(Tech))
Program Available at Hamilton Campus
Teachers are influential community members, making a difference to young people and their learning, knowledge and skill acquisition. They play a major role in helping their students develop their independence and success in their lives.
This degree is designed for two types of students; those who know what they want to be secondary school technology teachers, or those from the trades and industry, who need to become degree qualified to teach technology education.
The ITE papers within this degree are the same as for the Bachelor of Teaching (secondary). The extra points within the degree come from the study of papers in other faculties that build content for technology teaching.
