First-year papers are common across most Bachelor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences (BCMS) majors which means you can try all in your first year. Because the first three years of the BCMS(Hons) are very similar to the Bachelor of Science (BSc), you can choose when you graduate. You have the option to graduate after three years with a BSc or stay on for an extra year and complete your BCMS(Hons).
In the BCMS(Hons) you will benefit from practical, project-based papers that will equip you with the technical, communication and practical skills for a career in a field of numerous international opportunities.

PSW Opportunity
- During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
- After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
- After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.
