Master of Design
The Master of Design is a research degree aimed at developing your design expertise and empowering your decision-making.
Specializing in industrial design, fashion design and textile design, communication design, digital design or spatial design, you will work on interdisciplinary projects. Implementing creative research strategies, and continuing to develop expertise in your chosen field, you will contribute to vibrant, collaborative design culture.
Through this degree, you will advance your creative research skills, become ethically responsible and socially aware, and develop an understanding of the implications of working across cultural, social, and industrial contexts.

The Employability Lab hosts a number of events like career fairs, expos and presentations where – as potential employees - students and graduates can meet employers. We also run regular career development workshops and recruitment events.

We are connected with many employers who provide the leadership speaker series, industry panels and talks about potential employment with their organisation, including internship and graduate opportunities.
Past presenters include Samsung Electronics NZ, MYOB, Deloitte, BNZ, NZME, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Counties Manukau DHB and AR/VR Garage.
