B.A. English (Hons.)
Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English is a three year degree course offered by School of Languages and Culture. Students who are proficient in English communication and have passed Sr. secondary (10+2) with 50% marks from a recognized board are eligible for this course. The course not only sets in a base for higher academic degree in English literature but also enables students to gain a certain set of skills namely reading skill, Phonetics, creative writing, critical thinking, analytical thinking, understanding of relationship between literature and cinema, literature and culture and so on. It is highly relevant in the context of an ever expanding base of professions based on English studies.
