Biochemistry is the study of life at the molecular level. You’ll study a wide range of organisms, from bacteria all the way up to humans. Topics include:

• DNA replication, recombination and repair
• gene expression
• the molecular basis of cancer and chronic disease 
• the importance of application of biochemistry in real-world problems such as biofuels, nano-circuitry and bio-sensing
