Postgraduate Diploma in Ministry (PGDipMin)
The Postgraduate Diploma in Ministry is designed specifically for those engaged in ministry in the churches, and candidates must be involved in such a role (though not necessarily in full-time employment) as they study. It is not necessary to be based in Dunedin to study in this program.
Applicants must have a degree or equivalent three-year qualification in Theology to gain entry.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Ministry comprises six 400-level papers: three papers in Ministry Studies and three papers from those offered in Biblical Studies, Christian Thought and History, and Pastoral Studies. Because of the limited number of papers offered in any one year, it may not be possible to complete this in one year of full-time study. Most students complete their Diploma part-time.
