Television BA(Hons)

You’ll learn how to make television, how to think about it and how to find an audience, all within a specialist facility, working with industry professionals. The course is story-driven with a focus on practical making as well as critical thinking and helps you develop the essential skills you need to succeed in the television industry and beyond.

You will:

  • Work on professional, commercial briefs with our in-house, award-winning creative agency MAYN.
  • Have opportunities for industry based placements with companies such as Sky TV.
  • Attend masterclasses from industry leaders such as Otto Bathurst, director of Peaky Blinders, and Jon East, director of Killing Eve, Downton Abbey and Lost in Space.
  • Have the chance to apply for The Hothouse, a two-day placement with the acquisitions team at NBC Universal in London.
  • Take part in our industry mentor scheme in your final year.
  • Have the chance to work on our in-house micro-budget feature films.
