Become a compelling storyteller with Fanshawe's Journalism – Broadcast program. In this journalism program, you will learn how to capture live news and sports events, conduct interviews, write and edit news stories and broadcast live on Fanshawe's 106.9 The X - the largest news station in the city of London, run entirely by students.
Journalism - Broadcast students learn skills to develop a career as a Broadcast Journalist in electronic media, radio, television and webmedia.  Develop story telling skills as a reporter using broadcast news gathering equipment, audio and visual, news writing, newscasting, news editing, interviewing, researching, documentary/current affairs production, sportscasting, newsbeats, news management, media law and media ethics. 
Students operate four broadcast properties in Fanshawe College's School of Contemporary Media building, which is equipped with the latest in broadcast facilities.
