Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Science

The PGDipForensic is an advanced qualification designed for students who have an undergraduate degree in science or technology-related topics. It provides graduates with specialised knowledge and skills in the field of forensic science.

Taught at the School of Chemical Sciences, the PGDipForensic covers a broad range of topics. From DNA analysis to the development of new molecules to aid in the visualization of fingerprint residues, students will learn about forensic data, chemical analysis, forensic biology and the statistical treatment of forensic data.

PSW Opportunity

  • During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
  • After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
  • After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.
