With this pre-apprenticeship electronics engineering technology program, you'll focus your learning on electricity and electronics in factory automation and industrial controls training. You'll be the one relied upon and respected. Additionally, you'll study motor controls, industrial sensors, automation theory and digital based control systems. You'll also gain a working knowledge of pneumatic and electropneumatic control systems.
To add to your already diverse skill-set, you'll learn how to maintain, program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), industrial sensors and motor control circuits. Electronic control systems are found virtually everywhere, so you'll be able to put your skills to use in automated factories, building environmental systems, dairies, refineries and many more industrial settings.
