Students will need to have completed a related undergraduate degree from a recognised higher education institution, with at least 8 courses completed in the area of study of their thesis topic. A level of achievement in the intended area of study will need to be demonstrated. These will be considered the minimum entry requirements and won't automatically guarantee a student's entry into the program. Enrolment is contingent upon the Faculty's capacity to provide appropriate supervision in the intended field of study. A cumulative GPA of at least 5.0 in the 200 and 300 level courses of the major area of the discipline the student wishes to study.

INDIA

• All India Senior School Certificate – awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with a minimum grade average of 60% or better in the best 4 academic subjects in final year and and overall First Division results; 
  or
• Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) with a minimum grade average of 60% or better in the best 4 academic subjects in final year and overall First Division results; 
  or
• State board exams, other than Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) and Haryana State Education Board (HSEB), with a minimum grade average of 65% average across the 4 best academic subjects in the final year and overall First Division results; 
  or
• Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) and Haryana State Education Board (HSEB) exams, with a minimum grade average of 70% average across the 4 best academic subjects in the final year and overall First Division results; and
• All applicants must have at least 50% in the theory component (where applicable) of any subject.
