In our community services course you will:

  • develop a broad understanding of the principles and theories that relate to service delivery in the community services sector

The Box Hill Institute John St building is part of the Lilydale Lakeside campus. It’s where we teach our trades courses in Lilydale and also where the Adult Migrant English Program is delivered.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

International students must have completed an Australian Year 12 or international equivalent with a pass.

Interview: applicants will be asked a series of questions relating to their suitability for the course. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a clear understanding and aptitude for the course.

PLEASE NOTE: Box Hill Institute only accept enrolments from international students who are 18 years of age or above at the time of course commencement.

English Language Requirements

A minimum IELTS overall score of 6.5 (Academic) with no band less than 6.0. A minimum TOEFL score of 575 for paper examination; 232 for computer based and 90 for Internet based, or approved equivalent.
