Master of Medical Biotechnology
The Master of Medical Biotechnology is designed for students who seek knowledge and technological expertise in specific areas of cell and molecular biology, which is the basis for modern biotechnological research and development.

This degree will integrate your work practice skills to allow you to translate your skills into career ready attributes. Subjects give an introduction to the basic elements of modern cell and molecular biology before proceeding to intensive training in current biotechnology and its application to the fields of medicine, agriculture and molecular biology.

This degree is designed through the lens of global perspectives in science where you will also be exposed to emerging technologies such as the use of drones, artificial intelligence AI, coding and virtual reality (google VR) in science data collection and analysis during your first year core subjects.
Tutorials and laboratory-based practical work is offered and you have the opportunity to explore new technology developed in the field of study. Additional preparatory subjects focus on laboratory work and science communication skills.
With appropriate qualifications and laboratory skills, you can be awarded advanced standing for these preparatory subjects.

PSW Opportunity
Students can get 2 years PSW visa if they complete the studies from Sydney Camus and 3 years PSW visa if the course is completed from Wollongong Campus.
