B.Sc in Psychology
Psychology is the study of human behavior, the brain, and the mind. This program is perfect for students who wish to develop a better understanding of how and why people act, think and feel the way they do. You’ll study the principles of psychology and a variety of specialized subjects ranging from personality, child development, and abnormal psychology in your first two years, to advanced subjects such as gender, emotions, and the psychology of evil in the latter half of your degree.
Specializations: Specializations give you the freedom to develop a deeper understanding of (or “specialize” in) a topic related to your degree major. Adding a specialization to your degree shows future employers or graduate schools that you’re focused and interested in becoming an expert in your field.

Job Opportunity Potential
Psychologists assess and diagnose behavioural, emotional and cognitive disorders, counsel clients, provide therapy, conduct research and apply theory relating to behaviour and mental processes. Psychologists help clients work toward the maintenance and enhancement of psychological, physical, intellectual, emotional, social and interpersonal functioning. Psychologists work in private practice or in clinics, correctional facilities, hospitals, mental health facilities, rehabilitation centres, community service organizations, businesses, schools and universities, and in government and private research agencies.

- You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.
If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years
- We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.
For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.
If your program was 2 years or more
- We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.
If you completed more than 1 program
- You may be able to get a PGWP that combines the length of each program.
Each of the programs you completed -
- must be PGWP-eligible and at least 8 months in length

Requirements:
- Standard X Certificate results PLUS a minimum 70% average in Standard XII in best 4 academic courses, including English.
- English proficiency test results will be likely required. Students in the CBSE curriculum are exempted from providing English Language Proficiency test. See the English Language proficiency requirements for acceptable tests and exemptions.
