Trent’s dynamic and flexible Honours Science first-year pathway empowers you to explore a variety of courses across the sciences as well as the arts, before choosing a major or joint major in your second year. The possibilities are virtually endless as you try everything from Anthropology and Conservation Biology to Psychology and Water Sciences. Whatever path you take, you’ll develop a set of in-demand skills by getting hands-on experience in advanced labs, field studies, and conducting your own research in Trent’s world-class labs and diverse research facilities.

If your program was less than 8 months
- You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.
If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years
- We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.
For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.
If your program was 2 years or more
- We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.
If you completed more than 1 program
- You may be able to get a PGWP that combines the length of each program.
Each of the programs you completed -
- must be PGWP-eligible and at least 8 months in length

Requirements:
- Standard X Certificate results PLUS a minimum 70% average in Standard XII in best 4 academic courses, including English.
- English proficiency test results will be likely required. Students in the CBSE curriculum are exempted from providing English Language Proficiency test. See the English Language proficiency requirements for acceptable tests and exemptions.
- Submit your documents and English Proficiency test results (if applicable) via MyTrent.
