You will develop a solid foundation in predictive analytics and its applications in finance and investment decision-making, using techniques from data mining, statistics, modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to analyze current data and make sound investment predictions.
You will also learn how best to communicate your ideas to stakeholders who do not possess any data analytics knowledge.

Essential course prerequisites
Specifically, applicants require a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics/statistics, computer science, engineering, economics or finance, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a role requiring quantitative knowledge/skill. Applicants must also meet Curtin’s English language proficiency requirements.
