Psychology (MSc)
Our MSc Psychology lets you match modules to your interests and training needs. We’ll teach you the latest skills in psychological research and data analysis. This degree will help you progress your career if you're interested in data science. It also gives you the option to pursue a research career, either in the private sector or by studying for a PhD.
This MSc Psychology is an accepted disciplinary route for the funded Economics and Social Research Council (ESRC) South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership. You can select modules covering fundamental and advanced data analysis to give your course a research methods focus. Or you could carry out a practical research apprenticeship in an area of psychology that interests you, mentored by an expert in the field.
Whichever modules you choose, all students learn research methods and data science techniques, using tools such as the statistical software package R. We'll help you explore the latest developments in research, including collaborative science practices.
